Where are my keys stored?

Your cryptographic identity lives entirely in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to a server in a form that identifies you.

What happens if I clear my browser?

Your local identity is permanently deleted. Always export and back up your key from the You panel before clearing storage.

Can I export my identity?

Yes. Open the You panel inside the app and use the Export Key option to download your keypair as an encrypted backup file.

Is Conduit free?

Yes. Conduit is free to use. Aether (AETH) is the optional premium layer that unlocks holder-only rooms and governance features.

Do I need a wallet?

No wallet is required for basic Conduit use. A wallet is only needed to connect Aether tokens for premium features.

Can the relay read my messages?

The relay receives signed packets. Message content is not stored server-side after delivery. The relay is infrastructure, not a record keeper.

How do I get Aether?

Aether (AETH) token details including contract address, chain, and purchase instructions are coming soon on the About page.

How do I report abuse?

Email admin@conduitprotect.info with the subject "Abuse Report" and include the signed message hash and description of the violation.
